Introducing Nicole and Ken

Nicole King is a Livermore native whose musical theater credits include Anya in Anastasia, Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Janet Van de Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, Miss Honey in Matilda, and Gingy/Sugar Plum Fairy in Shrek – The Musical. A graduate of Deborah McQueen’s Music Smarts youth theater program in Livermore, Nicole began performing at age seven.

In 2025, Nicole starred as Anya in Anastasia, including Pacific Chamber Orchestra’s semi-staged presentation at Livermore’s Bankhead Theater and the subsequent production at San José’s Hammer Theatre Center. She previously starred as Ariel in a three-week production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid at Gavilan College Theater in Gilroy and as Belle opposite Ken Christopher’s Beast in Beauty and the Beast at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse. Nicole and Ken have also appeared together in The Drowsy Chaperone, giving the two performers a musical and theatrical partnership developed through several productions.

Nicole is also a dedicated vocal teacher. She lives in Livermore with her husband and has three children: two boys and recently gave birth to a baby daughter.

Ken Christopher is a Bay Area singer, actor and producer whose musical theater roles include the Beast in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Robert Martin in The Drowsy Chaperone, and Prince Eric in Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Ken has frequently performed opposite Nicole King. They appeared together as the Beast and Belle in Beauty and the Beast, reunited as Robert Martin and Janet Van de Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone, and then as Prince Eric and Ariel in a three-week production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid at Gavilan College Theater in Gilroy. Their experience performing together in several leading-role pairings has developed a natural musical and theatrical partnership that they bring to Disney Dreams & Magic.

Away from the stage, Ken is Executive Vice President of Christopher Ranch, the Gilroy-based family company founded by his grandfather, Don Christopher, and the nation’s largest garlic producer. Ken’s work there encompasses administration, sales, strategy, marketing, and media and government relations. Don Christopher was also one of the founders of the Gilroy Garlic Festival, helping establish a tradition that became closely identified with Gilroy and its garlic-growing heritage.
