Dear Bartender,
You are invited to participate in Pacific Chamber Orchestra’s (PCO) 2nd annual Tri-Valley Craft Cocktail Competition on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, from 4:00-6:30 pm on the plaza green in front of the Bankhead Theater. Proceeds will support PCO’s educational programs and main concerts.
This will be a super fun event that gives you an opportunity to win bartender bragging rights, make new followers and score prize money while supporting music education in Tri-Valley schools! To see a video of last year’s inaugural event click HERE.
Except for the audience favorite award, prizes will be determined by a panel of judges who will sample each of the 18 bartenders starting at 4:00 pm. VIPs will also enter at 4:00pm and general admission will be at 4:30 pm. All prizes will be announced at the end of the event around 6:30pm.
- $600 trophy and Mixologist of the Year honors to the first place.
- $400 and $200 plus trophies to the second and third place.
- $300 and trophy for Audience Favorite.
- $200 and $100 plus trophies for 1st and 2nd place Best Table Displays (based on beauty, creativity and matching theme / mood of drink. You are encouraged to go all out!)
To be eligible you must agree to the below requirements and submit the below form no later than March 15th. It is highly advised that qualified applicants submit ASAP as the few remaining open slots will be filled by date & time of submission. Requirements are:
- your cocktail must be original for TVC3
- you will serve your drinks in mini-shot glasses that will be provided
- bring four gallons of cocktails (including alcohol and other ingredients), enough for about 100 regular size cocktails or about 400 mini cocktails
- if you are accepted, you must provide the drink name, description and list of ingredients (not the recipe) by April 15th.
- follow day of procedures timely set-up, event practices, and clean up
- while not a requirement, we ask that, if at all possible, you bring a 10×10 pop up tent and have a bar backer with you
