Bring Live Music to Our Schools

Gift are increased by 50% through a matching grant from the Community Health and Education Foundation (CHEF) through June 30.

Pacific Chamber Orchestra’s Discover Music Now program of elementary school brings a live ensemble and narrator into schools for engaging, interactive assemblies that introduce students to the instruments of the orchestra, how music works, and how it expresses ideas and emotion—often providing students with their very first experience of live classical music.

Students don’t just listen—they are invited to participate, respond, and connect with the music in real time. Through music, these programs nurture young minds to listen deeply, think with discernment, and develop the empathy so vital in our world today.

“One of the most engaging and impactful assemblies we’ve brought to our students.”
— David Schlagg, Director of Elementary Education, Pleasanton USD

“Students were fully engaged, listening, participating, and wanting more. Please come again.”
— Teacher

“Opens students to creativity and new possibilities.”
— Local educators
